I’d love to hear you talk to Sarah Koenig, she seems super smart and always balanced and empathetic, which are qualities the two of you show, which is why I subscribe. And a little behind-the-scenes talk on making great podcasts would be interesting.

If you ever need to drive through the Wheeling area again, I can recommend a very cozy, affordable impeccable AirBnB cabin I’ve used half a dozen times on trips. I love it tho my wife does refer to it as the murder cabin cause it is a little too isolated for her taste. 😀

I'd love to get a trio of interviews with each of the Fifth guys solo. I think Sarah and Nancy would draw out different, more personal stories from each.

I would love this, too, will discuss with my better half. -- SH

So many topics! Matt and Nancy's long friendship, the conception of Paloma Media, Kmele on having young kids and the parallels between BLM and #metoo, Michael on Lizzo (I kid, I kid). Really, the possibilities are endless!

I just realized I “saw” this podcast live on YouTube the other day.

As you should be, Nancy! I am hoarding this episode as a reward for after my writing quota. Cheers!

First person who came to mind for a guest is Katherine Mangu-Ward. I don’t what she’d talk about at the moment but she is hilarious.

Love her even when I disagree with her. I imagine that would be a fun episode to listen to.

If I'd known about Wheeling (about 100 miles from me in Columbus), I would have recommended "Sarah's On Main" at 2122 Main St for a delicious breakfast and friendly greeting. We stopped there last December. They had a collection of rolling pins on their wall, arranged as art; I have a pic; also the menu written on a large roll of brown wrapping paper. Obviously a different Sarah... ;-)

Possibly a topic for your listener's emails podcast -- what was it like to read your own book to produce the audiobook version. I have been re-listening to "To the Bridge", which Nancy wrote and read, and I'm about to start "Blackout", for which Sarah is in the same boat. I hear that it's quite a bit of work, not at all like reading a bedtime story to a child. I quite like how Nancy read "Bridge" and I'm guessing I'll enjoy Sarah's rendition of "Blackout" as well.

re: "The Snakehead" -- about an hour into this story (audiobook version, of course), which I know nothing about and don't remember anything from its opening story about the 1993 shipwreck near New York.

Thanks for sharing the Sarah’s On Main” recommendation. I drive through Wheeling at least half dozen times a year. Sounds like a place I might like to try.
