The weather is perfect and I was in the mood for Italian food. And, apparently, to make fresh mozzarella, which I did at Murray’s Cheese on Bleecker Street, site of my earliest memory, of sitting in lap of the butcher in front of Ottomanelli’s. The shop is still there!
