Keen listener Mark noted that a Pie Talk # had been skipped. Now I know I’m bad at math but not that bad… then I realized, it was because I’d recorded this and never posted! In service of several listeners writing in to say they love the sweet recipes but hello, maybe something lighter once in a while? I offer a recipe from my former mother-in-law’s, yes that’s what it’s called and yes, a salad with raw ramen noodles has no business being as delicious as it is, but it is.
As for the echoey room I was recording in, and the redo that was happening, that’s been done for several weeks! It’s very sweet and calm and kind of brings together the apartment, or, in the words of our guest from earlier in the week, Mike Pesca, “your warren of comfortable rooms each more attractively arranged than the last.”
It was also nice when it was headquarters for this!
