Greetings from rainy Rhinebeck, where we are spending the weekend building fires and playing Scrabble and, if you are our 8-year-old guest host, seeing a giant buck in the woods.
Today we are also making Coco’s favorite cookie, double-chocolate. The recipe comes from Levain Bakery. This I think the fifth time I’ve made them. These baked up better than any of the others but are not as chocolate-rich, I just now realize because I’ve previously added MORE chocolate than the recipe calls for. The spoken recipe here does not include that, but I’ve added it to the written recipe, below the fold, and now officially dub them, Coco’s Double-Chocolate Cookies.
